In the beginning there are two groups but contestants are still individual contestants while until the end the group will win the competitions.In Amazing Race, they actually almost travel around the world and contestants are two people who are somehow related to each other, family, friends, couples etc.I personally find Survivor quite boring and I stopped watching it sometime around Season 2. Amazing Race has been able to keep my interest but it might just because of the travelling and different cultures. It is faster compared to Survivor and something is always happening.
