Guess Who Am I

We are having a boat trip with Jari and Saku. Currently we are in the small island in Näsijärvi.

After the thunderstorm we got hailstorm. After that there was some snow left on the ground.

Yesterday I went to Museum Centre Vapriikki to see the China Exhibitions: Jade Princess, Pieces of China and Ni Hao. All of these exhibitions are absolutely fabulous, you can see the burial suit made from small pieces of jade and all the developments happened during Han Dynasty. Pieces of China exhibition will show the development of the China during past years, in photos. Huge collection of photos and posters presenting different aspects of life. Ni Hao presents some of the traditional Chinese dolls from two collections.

I definitely will recommend these exhibitions to everyone who are interested about Chinese culture. In addition, you can visit the other exhibitions too. Velomania presenting the history of bicycles, Hockey exhibition the hockey history in Finland and Poko Records exhibition the history of music industry in Tampere.

I had great time, the afternoon was very perfect and not just because of the museum.

CSSA Tampere organised the traditional Chinese New Year - this year it was February 17th. This was also the first year I attended - I must say that it was very nice party, I liked it a lot. There was a possibility to watch the CCTV New Year’s Gala and also locally there was some program arranged. As usual, it was nice to see some friends along the good food.

The local dance school was promoting the upcoming dance competition and at the same time they were giving few dance shows to the audience in the local mall.

Nokia on the Rocks happening in the local pub. Bands formed by Nokia employees perform once in a while in the local pubs together.

Local ice hockey game in Tampere between two local teams. Always an exciting event I guess.

Really nice and warm summer day in a park.

There was quite a big fire in Lielahti area when one of the furniture shops burned down.

Tampere has a new café - Italian style.
